Arosa offers you sport on ice in all its many facets. Whether curling, ice stick shooting, ice-skating or ice hockey. An excellent infra-structure awaits you, all the relevant equipment is available locally.

Curling
A German guest once asked us if it's true that in Switzerland parents are given a curling stone on the birth of their child! In fact, the traditional winter sport for people with feeling in their fingertips is very much loved in Switzerland.
As an introduction to the sport, we organise weekly trial lessons on the open-air artificial ice rink. Visit Arosa Curling Club's

Ice stick shooting
The so-called "Bayern Curling" can be quickly learnt. It's played on the natural ice rink in Innerarosa until March, after that on the open-air artificial ice rink. Group lessons given on request.
Ice-skating/Ice Hockey
You can venture onto thin ice on the open-air artificial ice rink at the Obersee or in the Eissporthalle from the middle of December to the middle of April. Competent ice-skating trainers are available for instruction on request.
Incidentally, the indoor ice surface is available for rent for fun matches or for training purposes. In addition, two sunny natural ice rinks are at your disposal in Innerarosa and at Hof Maran.
